Online Ordering Queries
All orders are subject to acceptance in accordance with our Order Acceptance Policy.
What do I need to order?
Please prepare your valid email address, postal address, phone number and postcode to place your order. Please make sure you type all the information carefully.
Why do you need my email address and phone number?
Your email address:
In order to minimise costs we communicate by email whenever possible. By placing an order or asking for advice you agree to communicate with us by email. In order to ensure a quick reply, please use our web site email form. If you simply reply to a message from us you may be sending your reply to a staff member who is on holiday or away from the office so your message will not be read until they return.
Your phone number:
Most of our UK deliveries are made by private carrier companies. They require a phone number so that they can contact the person who will be signing for delivery in case:
The driver can't find the address
The driver can't reach the address due to height/weight or other restrictions
There is no answer to the doorbell
The driver is delayed
If you do not give a valid phone number, unfortunately, we must refuse your order. The phone number MUST include the dialling code from the UK.

How do I order?
Take a look through our Catalogue page. If you find items you like the look of, please click on the picture to bring up those items details. Here you can view things about the product, a description, size etc, and you can add the item to your shopping basket by clicking the 'Place to Order'.
Each item in our catalogue has a "Place to Order" button. The first time you click this, it will create a "View Your Order" order form page for you and add the details of the item to it. You can click the "Continue shopping" button on your order form "View Your Order" page to return to the catalogue page that you just left. You can click on as many "Place to Order " buttons as you like in order to add different items to your order form. Be sure to change the Quantity if you want more than one of any item. To delete an item, change the quantity to zero and click "Recalculate".
You can see what is in your account at any time by clicking on a "View Your Order ". These are at the top of every catalogue page. Just scroll up or down and you'll see one.
At any time after adding the first item to your account, you can change its quantity by clicking "Recalculate" at the bottom of the View Your Order page. This will calculate the total invoice amount. If you are happy to proceed, click the button at the bottom of the shopping cart page to go to the next page. Enter your personal details then click the button at the bottom of the page and choose your payment method. Enter the card details (if card) on the secure payment page and click the button at the bottom of the page. Until you do this your order has not been sent.

Cookies
For the online shopping facility to work, your browser must accept "cookies".
A "cookie" in computer terms is simply a note which is stored on your computer. Your Internet browser (eg. Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, iCab, Safari, Opera) has a file where it stores these notes. Cookies are normally very useful because they make it appear as if a web site "remembers" you or something that you did. For example, if you are a member of a discussion forum, an information "cookie" can be kept in the cookie file on your computer so that you don't have to type in your username and password each time you visit the forum.
Similarly, it is used by "online shopping facility" systems. A unique code is stored in your cookie file so that the list of what you want to buy is associated with your computer when you reach the "checkout". Cookies can also be used to track your progress through a web site for other purposes; this may be so that you see a pop-up message only once on a particular page. In general, cookies are useful. There is no way that a cookie can be stored on your computer anywhere except in the dedicated cookie file. Also, it's not possible for the cookie reader software on the web site to read any files on your computer except the cookie file.
How do I know if furniture is still available?
If the furniture is under the Catalogue page, the furniture is definately available. Please allow at least 2-4 weeks to complete to make furniture. We try best to complete as quickly as possible with utmost quality.

How do I receive confirmation of my order?
After you complete your order, you will be sent TWO emails to confirm your purchase and a unique reference number for your order. Please check what you have ordered and read the notes carefully. Please note your credit card number is NEVER sent in an email.
Order Acknowledgement email:
If you placed an order you should have received an Order Acknowledgement by email direct from the shopping facility server within 10 minutes of completing the order. If you did not then you may have mistyped your email address. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from morikenzie furniture maker & designer. Read the Customer Receipt carefully as it may contain links to information pages that you will need. This is a raw copy of your order, as you typed it, without alteration. Please do not reply this email.
Order Confirmation email:
Once you make your deposit payment for your order by credit/debit cards on the secure payment page, you should have received an Order Confirmation by email direct from our server within 5 minutes. Please check it carefully as THIS is the one we will work from. Please read all the notes below it since our computer checks for errors and will notify you if it finds any. Simple things like mistyping the name that's printed on your credit card can delay your order so please look for these notes. Please do not reply this email.
For people paid by cheque, we will send Order Confirmation email when the cheque clears.
WE MAY NOT REPLY TO FREE EMAIL ADDRESSES!
If you omitted to give us a proper e-mail address, we may not be able to reply. Hotmail addresses, MSN, AOL addresses (and some other free email providers) often get blocked when we send a personal reply. The automatic order verification may arrive but our personal reply simply will not reach you and we cannot do anything regarding this issue. If you do not receive a personal reply, please check your "Junk folder" then send us an alternative real e-mail address - yours, or your spouse's, a friend's or a neighbour's. Be sure to include the order reference or your postcode.
Please do not block our email. We are unable to reply if you use an email checking service such as "Spam Arrest".
Order Acceptance:
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and morikenzie furniture maker & designer will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions. Except for Commission Work, we do not take remaining balance for your goods until the order is ready for dispatch.

Order Acceptance Policy
We reserve the right to refuse your order if you are rude, aggressive, if we can not confirm your ability to pay, if you attempt to cheat us or if you impose unacceptable conditions on us or on the delivery drivers.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a pricing or product description error
You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions
If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by us.
