Delivery Queries


Essential Checks Before Ordering

It is your responsibility to ensure that the Furniture Products you have ordered will fit into your home, and that there is sufficient access for our delivery lorry to reach the delivery address.

The delivery crew will not attempt delivery where damage to your home may result; neither will they remove doors and windows.

Where the item/s ordered will not fit into your home, you will incur any removeal fees arising.

 

How do you deliver?

Delivery will be made by our nominated carriers for your area.

 

Can you deliver to a different delivery address?

Should it be more convenient for you, we can deliver to your residence, work or another address. Please state the address you want to receive when you order.

What are your delivery charges?

morikenzie furniture maker & designer only delivers to the following UK territories: Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

These delivery charges apply to Mainland UK only; if you order Products for delivery outside Mainland UK, you will be informed of the rate of delivery charges applicable and other delivery information when or soon after we receive your order.

Our standard furniture delivery prices are calculated according to the destination, size and type of product. The charge for furniture varies according to the volume, weight and destination. This includes chairs, tables, sofas, beds, desks and storage units. We will contact you to arrange a convenient time for delivery by email. All furniture deliveries require a signature upon delivery to confirm that you have safely received your order. All delivery costs include VAT.

An additional delivery charge may be payable for deliveries above first floor, deliveries requiring more than two delivery crew or a small van for access and other exceptional circumstances. Our staff will advise you of the additional delivery charge applicable at the time you place your order or as soon as possible thereafter. For prices and availability please contact us by email.

 

Will you deliver overseas?

Currently delivery is available only to UK addresses. For off shore islands there will be an extra charge for furniture deliveries please contact us before you order. We are working towards overseas delivery in the future.

How long is delivery likely to take?

Most items will be delivered to you as soon as possible after completion of your order. The approximate delivery times for furniture are given on the product information.

 

What to do if there will be no one to receive my order upon delivery?

Please make sure that an adult will be available at the address to carefully check the unwrapped product, sign and acknowledge the receipt in a safe and satisfactory condition. Please report any defects immediately upon delivery.

If no one is available to accept delivery, your order will be returned to the carrier's depot and the driver will leave you a card explaining where your order is and what to do next.

 

Special Requirement

Deliveries requiring special arrangements can sometimes be made but will be at an additional cost to you.

Important Delivery Information:

Please note that we will charge you for any costs we incur due to the following circumstances :

  • Where delivery have not been made: 3 weeks after the original due date of the furniture or first booking attempt by us (whichever is the later.)

  • Where delivery have been made: if you are unavailable to take delivery of your furniture order on two occasions after agreeing delivery dates with us.

  • Delivery dates and weeks are not guaranteed but we will do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered within the stated date or soon afterwards.
  • We shall not be responsible for delays or failures in delivery caused because we cannot gain access to the delivery address on the agreed delivery date or because of other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

    Specific delivery times and days cannot be agreed at any time in the order process.
